Moreover as reported in the NY Times article, India’s Air Pollution Rivals China’s as World’s Deadliest it has been found that India’s air pollution is deadlier than even China’s.
In these visualizations, one can explore India’s air pollution levels at a more granular scale, based on the Historical Daily Ambient Air Quality Data released by the Ministry of Environment and Forests and Central Pollution Control Board of India.
The United States Environmental Protection Agency defines Particulate Matter as the term for a mixture of solid particles and liquid droplets found in the air. Respirable Suspended Particulate Matter is defined as inhalable particles, with diameters that are generally 10 micrometers and smaller.
